Dr Kyle Bennett is a Senior Lecturer at the Coffs Harbour campus of Southern Cross University. He is the deputy lead of the Physical Activity, Sport and Exercise Research theme and an accredited Sports Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
Kyle’s research interests include talent, esports, expertise, and skill acquisition. Dr Bennett is leading a research program on talent identification and development in esports. He is also leading a research program on conceptualising and operationalising skillfulness in sports.
Kyle teaches undergraduate students in Sport and Exercise Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology degrees. He is the unit assessor for Growth and Development and Applied Skill Acquisition.
Dr Bennett joined the ASAN Executive Committee in 2022.
