Thank you from #ASAN2023

A huge thank you to all of the presenters, panel members, and of course the attendees for making the 2023 ASAN conference another fantastic event. A special thank you to the staff and students at the University of Canterbury (affectionately known as the “Red Shirts”) for making everyone feel welcomed to beautiful Christchurch.

#ASAN2023 Draft Programme Released

The 2023 ASAN conference is shaping up nicely and we are excited to start releasing some information about the sessions and presentations at this years conference.

Day 1 of the draft programme focuses on industry application of skill acquisition including a session ran by leaders in the discipline Chris Button, Rich Masters, and S-Kate Millar and an exciting panel discussion looking at transdisciplinary approaches to training.

Day 2 of the programme includes oral and poster presentations and concludes with an opportunity to explore Christchurch by Wake on the Avon River (optional activity).

There will also be a keynote speaker on each day (more details to follow soon) and the all important networking and social events. #ASAN2023 is going to be yet another great conference.

Welcome the new Executive Committee members

We would like to welcome the new incoming members of the ASAN Executive Committee: Daniel Chalkley, Kyle Bennett, Lyndell Bruce, Chris McCosker, and Jonathan Ng. 

Their responses to the expression of interest questions showed a real appreciation for their energy and enthusiasm, and indicates how they’ll continue to contribute to ASAN.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the previous members of the Executive Committee who have made significant contributions over the years including: Keith Davids, James Croft, Job Fransen, John Sutton, Damian Farrow, Ian Renshaw, and Rich Masters.
